Everything is ready when you arrive.
Your 6-session course includes guided demonstrations, individual support, weekly painting exercises, artist references, a relaxed small-group environment and all watercolour materials.

Who Is This Course For?
You don’t need to think of yourself as an artist.
This course is for people who have always wanted to try watercolour, haven’t painted since school, already paint but want more structure, enjoy art and culture, or simply want a creative reason to slow down at the weekend.
Complete beginners are very welcome.
Meet Your Tutor
Yuki
Yuki is an artist and designer with a focus on watercolor, oil painting, sketching, Chinese traditional painting, and graphic design. Holding an MA in Graphic Design from the University of Edinburgh, Yuki’s contemporary practice has been widely acclaimed on the international stage, featuring as a Winner of the Delphian Open Call 2025 and a Finalist for the 14th Prisma Art Prize (Rome), alongside multiple longlist recognitions for the Homies Art Prize and the Women in Art Emerging Artist Prize.

Watercolour & Wellbeing
No rules. No pressure. Just colour.
A slower, playful watercolour session exploring flowing pigment, salt, water, texture and unexpected marks.
There’s nothing you need to paint “correctly”.
Experiment, watch colours move and make something entirely your own.

The course is beginner-friendly and everything is introduced step by step. If you haven’t painted since school, you’ll be absolutely fine.

This course focuses much more on colour, observation and enjoyment than perfect drawing.
You don’t need to be able to draw realistically to make a beautiful painting.

We take painting seriously — but not ourselves.
You’ll learn real ideas and techniques from painting and art history, but the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.
