Light-Activated Printmaking: Jiama-Inspired Photopolymer Workshop
This workshop is inspired by the visual language and storytelling structure of Chinese Jiama woodblock prints. Participants will create their own image and transform it into a photopolymer relief printing plate using UV exposure technology. The final process allows participants to print multiple editions by hand, similar to traditional woodblock printmaking.
Unlike photographic processes such as cyanotype, this workshop focuses on relief printmaking, where light is used to create a printable surface rather than producing a photographic image.

We encourage students to have their own tools for consistent practice at home. We provide heavy equipment and consumables like easels, drawing boards, and professional paper.

Course packages are non-refundable. If you need to skip a class, please notify us 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to arrange a make-up session in another Saturday slot, subject to availability.
